Christy Champion looks in the mirror of her hotel room and is staring at the necklace that Gerik gave her and tries to get him off of her mind.
She's never let anyone get to her like this. She had feelings for him and she knew it but now he wants to act weird and thinks she's again him? Its the only thing in her mind.
She decides to take her mind off of him and off of the situation by going to the gym.
She dresses in her gear and grabs her gym bag and walks out of her hotel room and into the gym that all of the wrestlers frequent when they're in town.
Her first thought when she walks in is 'you've got to be kidding me!'.
There is only one person in the wrestling ring and its Gerik Maroda.
This might be as good a time as any to confront him she though she thinks to herself.
Christy slowly walks over and sits her bag down on a bench and looks into the ring. She still has the necklace on.
Christy Champion: So is there anything you wanna say to me?

Gerik is stunned to see Christy having spent the last few days in a lot confusion after the announcement for there match on Friday. He didn't know what to say to her. With so many thoughts running threw his head and the pit feeling in his stomach.
Gerik: What are you doing here?
She must have decided that she wasn't done messing with his head he thought. He wasn't gonna fall for her tricks he will stay calm and forget about the way she makes him feel when she's around.

Christy Champion: "I came here to run the ring ropes and get my cardio up and then I saw...you."
Christy slides into the ring and stands up and is looking at the man that ran her down in his last interview.
Christy Champion: "I don't know what your deal is because I thought we were cool but I wanted to let you know, since your standing right here, that I'm more than a little offended.
Do you really think I NEED anything from you to get main event matches? This is the second match we've been involved in together and before that I was doing just fine on my own."
Christy grabs the top rope with one hand and clinches her necklace around her neck with the other.
Christy Champion: "I guess the sad thing is I actually was starting to feel comfortable around you. I didn't want anything other than maybe one friend here because lets face it, everyone else here is weird or they've had nothing but rude things to say about me.
You were different, but forget it. No point in talking about it now I guess. You said what was on your mind. Just know that when we step into the ring against each other? I'll show you that I need nobody."

Geriks mind was running rampant at this point as he watched Christy clutch at the necklace. Could she be telling the truth?
Gerik: So let me get this straight you didn't ask to be put in the match against me on Friday? Cause if not you got more enemies then I thought. Because more then one person told me you planned the entire thing. They said you were bragging about having me wrapped around your little finger.
Gerik walked over about 5 feet from Christy and leaned over the ropes awaiting her reply.

Christy Champion: "And you believed everyone else over me. I see how it is."
She backs into the corner and is staring at him, hurt in her eyes.
Christy Champion: "To answer your question no I never asked to be put in the match this week. I would have preferred to work with you again than to work against you but management wanted this match.
Can't say I blame them. Us 3 are at the top right now and its gonna bring in ratings. And now I know how you feel so yeah I'll be watching my own back in the match don't worry about it."

She's being honest he can tell. Strong feelings of guilt and regret begin to kick in.
Gerik: That's fair I guess. I took someone else's word over yours and I was wrong. I understand that your upset and you got every right to be. Just know that... I'm sorry.
Gerik climbs out of the ring and begins to pack up his gym bag. Its clear theres more he wants to say but hes holding back.

Christy Champion: "Then don't walk away."
As Gerik turns around slowly Christy speaks up saying it again.
Christy Champion: "If your sorry than don't leave. Come back into the ring. Talk to me. Tell me how you really feel."
Christy nervously stares at him, awaiting his reaction. Knowing she's ready to open up completely if he does.

Gerik pauses for a moment then he drops his bag and turns sliding in the ring and cornering Christy against the turnbuckle. She looks like she's about to speak but he doesn't give her the chance as he pushes her hair behind her ear and leans in kissing her lips. He holds for just a moment before releasing and staring at her bright blue eyes.
He gives her a smile then backs up slowly and rolls out of the ring grabbing his bag and walking towards the door. He looks back at a stunned and speechless Christy who is still clutching the necklace he got her and gives her a slight nod as he walks out.

Christy watches him until he walks out of the door and it slams behind him. So many thoughts are running through her mind but the biggest one is she loves how bold he was.
She smiles looking down at the necklace and her day just got a whole lot better after the apology and kiss.
