We find ourselves in south Florida at the Sharpe compound. We see Ric working out with the trainers and a few hopeful trainees.
Ric is putting one of his students through the paces when Dakota walks into the room with a older gentleman in a business suit. Dakota walks up on the ring apron and gets Ric's attention.
Dakota: Ric, Mr. Champion has arrived and said that it is very important that he speaks with you.
Ric grabs a towel and starts wiping down as he looks at Dakota and tells her to show Mr. Champion to my office.
Dakota heads off leading Mr. Champion to Ric's office.
Ric walks into his office and reached out to shake Mr. Champion's hand.
Ric: Ted it has been a while. How are things going. How is the wife doing. How is Christy doing.
Ted: The wife is doing great. Christy is why I am here.
Ric: What's wrong. Is she okay did something happen?
Ted: She is Fine.
Ric looking confused ask Ted asking then what is going on.
Ted: there is this up start federation that just signed Christy to a contract.
Ric: That's great she grew up in the business. I couldn't think of anyone else that would be better talking about the business.
Ted: No Ric they signed her to a contract to compete in the ring.
Ric feeling shocked. Okay she has always loved the sport and has heart.... but what has you here.
Ted: I'm here hoping that you can go to this AWF and look out for her.
Ric: Ted okay you know that I have no problem helping you out but Christy isn't going to buy me just showing up.
Ted: I know. But she knows you very well. Ric HB is back. She knows how much you hate him. She would think nothing about you trying to ending his career.
Ric: What do you mean by HB is back..... They took him out of the arena on a stretcher. He was left in a coma the last time I fought him 2 years ago. How in the hell is he back.
Ted: I knew that you would feel that way.
That is why I know she wouldn't expect you tobe there just to watch out for her.
Ric: Ted she is right. I will promise I will take care of her. But I now have some unfinished business to take care of.
Ric pushing the button for the intercom. Dakota please contact this AWF and get us a contract signed.
Dakota: What do you want on the contract.
Ric: I don't care. HB is back I just want to get my hands back on him. I don't care what you have to do just get the deal done.
Dakota: Yes Sir
